Meet iPad

Whatever people use it for — whether it replaces a laptop or becomes a glorified Scrabble board — Tora Harris wanted to be a part of the next wave of technology.

The Olympic high jumper who lives at the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center said the iPad will change the way people use computers.

“We’ve been using a mouse and keyboard for the last 20 or more years,” he said. “But in the future, if a kid touches a computer screen and nothing happens, he’ll think it’s broken. The iPad is revolutionary.”
